Select your "From" and "To" timezones using the searchable dropdown — you can type a city name, region, or common abbreviation such as CST, IST, or PST. By default the clocks show the live current time in both zones with a pulsing indicator. To convert a specific meeting time, enter a custom hour and minute in the time input bar; the clocks freeze to that time while seconds continue ticking so you always know it is a projection.
A day-difference badge appears when the conversion crosses midnight, so you will never accidentally schedule a meeting on the wrong date. Use the swap button to quickly reverse the two timezones. The tool requires no account and runs entirely in your browser.
All IANA timezones recognized by your browser's Intl API are supported — over 400 zones covering every inhabited region on Earth. This includes major cities, regions, and military timezones. The search feature lets you find any zone by city, country, or abbreviation.
The converter automatically accounts for DST based on each timezone's current rules. When a region enters or exits DST, the displayed offset updates in real time. The abbreviation shown (e.g. PST vs PDT) also changes to reflect whether DST is active.
Use the custom time input to check the corresponding time in the target zone during your proposed meeting slot. Be aware that DST transitions in spring and fall can shift offsets by one hour, potentially breaking recurring slots. Check each zone's DST schedule before finalizing a weekly meeting.
A common overlap window is 8–10 AM in the Americas, which corresponds to 4–6 PM in Europe and early morning in Asia. The exact best time depends on the specific zones involved. Use the converter to find a slot where all participants have reasonable working hours.
The tool runs locally and does not store conversion history or support URL-based sharing of timezone selections. You can take a browser screenshot or use the print function to save the current conversion. Bookmarking the page with your preferred timezones selected is a practical workaround.
